These two pics were shot during the 1998 Premier player awards in Memphis. The song I did was "I Can't Stand the Rain", however I sampled Rap star Missy Elliott, which took everyone by surprise. These are the two dancers I use on tour now. From L-R Chris Cannon, myself and James Newby. (The woman you see in the background of the top picture is one of six Egyptian belly dancers I used for the performance.) This was definitely one of the most rewarding live performances for me, as it let people see me from a totally '90s light.
